1 Night In Paris Rick Salomon

beach avenue XII: The way to a new home

Yesterday I drove three times over the beach avenue to South Beach. Only in the morning, after attending the weekly market in Petersburg, to look at the post office and defrost the refrigerator. A little later I went down again in order to meet with an electrician who was to hang two lights and remove the two radiator, which we wanted to have in the house. It did not fit, and he was again returned to the workshop. But I gave him the apartment key, because the small beach house had become uncomfortably cold - just right for the cold that I have a few days. from country churches then the journey will make some "civilized" - I'm going through and I'm already Castle soon beloved on the beach avenue. The gave herself last night but very dark and inhospitable - great lakes were in the potholes, a result of the heavy rains in recent days. In our beach house I was excited about the new lights and began to wipe it off thoroughly defrosted refrigerator. Then I sought out some more hats, gloves and warm underwear, because I can now make good use when I walk in Neujellingsdorf over the fields. Now I could finally turn off the water and electricity. How many times I was in the last two weeks have been times in the small apartment where we had lived for almost five months! How many things had accumulated there, Now all I got to our house. On the small table were the memories of presents, love and good luck, check out - what a summer! A time full of life, in all variants on the scale of discomfort to the greatest happiness! In my first blog on 23 Avenue beach May 2010 I had written:

The beach avenue for me is not just a road that leads to South Beach, but a way to happiness. Each time we arrive, I get heart palpitations. And if we go away again, then always the dominant feeling of confidence that we can come back so soon. Maybe one day forever. But this is a Theme for the next blog.

And now it is time. We now stay here on our island of happiness.

When I closed the small apartment and the long hallway to the elevator went along, I had to think of all the many departures, as I always sad and stressed the luggage was carried to the car and we then filled with sadness had left. The trip to Hamburg, where we always stayed in last time, went still. But then, the long journey across Germany, until we were finally back in Bamberg ...

Last night I got into the stillness and darkness before the house Stranddistelweg in the car and drove off along the deserted marina, where some few vessels waiting to be taken to winter quarters. At the curve on the lake I looked at the beach avenue in the darkness, illuminated only by a few lanterns, moved away. I went on a happy heart, to search for exactly 14 minutes to our house to arrive where Hans Christian was waiting eagerly for me. This can farewell was not easy, because separate us exactly 10 km and 14 minutes drive from this beautiful home, where they look so wonderful in the winter the sea and watch the sky.

And I remembered the last lines from Hermann Hesse's poem "stages": a

It is perhaps also the hour of death
us new rooms young be sending,
The call of life to us is never ending ...
Well, my heart, take leave and healthy!

About our move, I then write the next beach avenue Blog!
I am most grateful to you all for the cards, calls, emails, encouragement, and encouragement, the beautiful gifts and the active support during our collection in Neujellingsdorf! I will thank me or individually for each.

Have a nice evening!
your Beate Forsbach
